Waves and CMBE announce MaxxNet universal broadcast processor for radio and TVLAS VEGAS, NEVADA --WAVES , the leading supplier of DSP software for the professional audio and multimedia markets, and CMBE, Inc., the leading consultants in broadcast audio processing today announced a partnership to bring the next-generation of integrated audio processing solutions to the broadcast industry.The first product of this partnership is the MaxxNet Universal Broadcast Processor for radio and TV. MaxxNet coordinates and automates all audio processing including microphones, telephone audio, studio mastering to storage media, streaming processing, monitor processing STL pre-processing and network sweetening. MaxxNet optimizes overall system sound quality, while eliminating operator errors and re-dubbing requirements. The system supports analog and digital inputs and outputs needs as well as custom presets for each facility based on operating levels and house standards. The system utilizes Windows2000 for control, but all audio processing is independent of the operating system using high performance audio digital signal processor (DSP) accelerators.
