Alesis Ships A6 Andromeda to Rave Reviews
SANTA MONICA, CALIF.--Upholding the legacy of classical American synthesizers, Alesis Corporation ships the A6 Andromeda, a real analog polyphonic synthesizer. Designed with 16 true analog voices and 16-channel multitimbral functionality with full MIDI implementation, A6 stands in contrast to the myriad of other digital analog-style synths on the market today--offering more voices, a more powerful voice engine and the natural variability and warmth of real analog sound.

The Alesis A6 Andromeda combines the warmth and feel that only a true analog synth can offer, with some of the most advanced chip technology ever designed for a musical instrument. Each voice has two independent oscillators and filters, for a total of 32 oscillators and 32 filters. In addition, it offers both analog and digital effects on board--something no other synthesizer has ever offered before. The traditional analog-style step sequencer and independent arpeggiator are programmable for each sound independently, offering users unprecedented sonic control and artistic freedom.
