Ernie Ball Signs on Latest MTV Rage "Good Charlotte"

Ernie Ball recently signed on power pop punk band "Good Charlotte," whose video is currently on rotation on MTV with their first single "Little Things."

"We were impressed with the sound and energy of the band," said Derek Brooks of Ernie Ball. "We will definitely look forward to supporting their efforts in the future."

Epic Records released the band's self-titled debut in September. Now "Little Things" is a modern-rock hit that seems destined for the top of the charts. MTV has big plans for the band: Good Charlotte just finished recording the theme music for a new animated series MTV will debut next spring. The band is currently touring the country, winning over audiences with what band member Benji calls "rock-and-roll with options"--punk-propelled rock with some hip-hop and reggae flavor.

Opting not to use their last names, Good Charlotte consists of Joel - Lead Vocals; Benji - Vocals & Guitar; Billy - Guitar; Paul - Bass; and Aaron – Drums; all in their early 20’s and from Annapolis, Maryland.

The fun-loving band has rocked Washington DC radio station WHFS' famed HFStival for the last two years, and built a devout following in the Baltimore metro area.

"Me and Benji have always written from personal experiences," said lead singer Joel, "You've got my brother on guitar- he's got that punk-rock aggression, and you've got me singing." He gestures to his heart: "Everything comes from here."

"We want kids to come to our shows and forget about everything," said Joel. "Whatever their problems are, we want them to be focused on the energy, have a good time, and then go back to their normal life tomorrow."
