The Sound Burst Collection is a set of 384 high quality synth patches programmed by Sound Burst, the highly acclaimed Italian content company that specializes in sound design and analog synthesis. These dynamic patches are compatible with the popular Retro AS-1 analog software synthesizer (Mac/Win) .
The Sound Burst Collection contains a wide variety of sounds: fat, hard-hitting basses, dance/techno synth drums, classic synths, FM type sounds, lush pads, electric pianos, wild leads, and sound effects. Anyone that owns Retro AS-1 will find that this collection is a must-have addition to their sound library. Each sound has been meticulously programmed to take advantage of Retro's extremely flexible modulation routings and effects. For example, many of the sounds utilize aftertouch and velocity sensitivity, making these sounds more expressive than the hardware analog synthesizers of the past.
* The Sound Burst Retro AS-1 collection is included in the 2.0 release of Retro AS-1. Note that 2.0 patches will not be backwards-compatible with 1.x versions of Retro AS-1 software.
