SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – Ernie Ball rolled into the Vertical Sports Carnival, "Invert 2000," on November 17-19, providing live music on Ernie Ball mobile stage and giving festival-goers the chance to road test guitars on the Ernie Ball Bus. Held at the Anaheim Convention Center in CA., the Invert 2000 featured pro skate and stunt bike competitions, with a 60K purse and international television coverage. Bands playing on the Ernie Ball stage kept the 10,000 to 15,000 festival attendants pumped up between skate and stunt bike competitions. The young crowd (10-25 years old) was entertained by a variety of musical styles including hardcore, ska, hiphop and punk. The Pathetics of San Luis Obispo, CA, Chapter 11 of Long Beach, CA, Capitol Eye and Even Rude, both from LA, and Lavish Green from South Lake Tahoe, CA showcased their musical prowess all weekend. The Ernie Ball bus was parked amid all the commotion with its 19 demo guitars and interactive display, giving kids the chance to check out Ernie Ball Music Man’s entire line, plus win Ernie Ball prizes, from strings to T-shirts.
