Every famous songwriter can probably write a song in a few minutes. It probably wont be the best song in the world but a songwriter has the knowledge to write songs.
Just like to can learn to play an instrument you can learn to write songs. All you need is some Music Theory and some idea of how songs are written. In modern music like pop music, country, blues, dance, rock, etc. It is not that difficult. Most songs have a basic chord sequence and rhythm pattern. In this article we'll have a look at a basic song layout and look at the chorus, what works and what doesn't.
