AKG Wireless Microphone CU 400 Dual-Bay Battery ChargerThe AKG CU 400 is a dual-bay battery charger that allows a user to place both the AKG HT 400 handheld transmitter and PT 400 bodypack transmitter directly into the unit for quick, safe charging without having to remove the battery. Included with the unit are 2 x “AA”-sized 1.2-volt high-current NiMh batteries that deliver 25% more use time than standard rechargeable or alkaline batteries. The CU 400 fully charges these high-performance batteries either in the transmitters or just plugged into the bays in less than 1.5 hours and WMS 400 transmitters will deliver 8 hours of operation from a full charge. The CU 400 ensures that it recharges the batteries in the quickest, safest way without risk of overcharging. Two LEDs on the front of the CU 400 indicate when the unit is charging. In addition to the convenience of recharging the batteries inside the transmitters, the CU 400 lowers the operating cost of the system tremendously and will pay for itself in battery cost saving. The CU 400 also contributes to a cleaner environment. The CU 400 provides intelligent battery management as well as highly comfortable charging.
