Sonorus announces MODULAR/8New York, NY - Sonorus, Inc. today announced the release of the Modular/8 the latest product in their AUDI/O series. This unit is a high quality, professional modular audio interface for those demanding the highest possible audio quality and is the first product resulting from Sonorus' strategic alliance with Swiss company Merging Technologies (makers of the PyramixTM editing system). "Modular/8 is the ultimate conversion system," says President Marc Lindahl. ADAT lightpipe in/out is also included to connect the Modular/8 to the award winning STUDI/O® digital audio interface, including support for 96kHz sample rates via the S/MUXTM protocol. All module audio connections are made using high quality balanced XLR type connectors and the front panel has a clear and easy to use interface. Standard configurations include eight channels of 24 bit/96kHz bi-directional conversion, and two channels of 24 bit/96kHz bi-directional conversion. The unit can also be ordered with any combination of digital and analog channels. The Modular/8 is Sonorus' first product release in conjunction with Merging Technologies.
