I have a Antoria "Jazzstar".
Made in Korea, similar to
Gibson 175.
Very good condition.
I don't know the age, I guess late 70's.
Looks like it's never been gigged

Antoria guitars were very common in the shops in the seventies but you don't see them nowadays. Do your guitars carry the name on the head? do they have a logo which looks like two small triangles vertival but base to base? Does anyone with the Les Paul copy know if the body is laminate or solid? What shape are the fret markers and are they mother of pearl? Where were the machine heads made- they should be stamped? Does this model have a tail piece to the bridge?
From what you all say it would be well worth watching for old models to refurbish - alot cheaper than paying £200 plus in a shop

i have a similar guitar i think, it has the shape of a les paul but the colurs are dark brown fading into lighter yellowy brown in the middle it has a different shape at the top of the neck by the tuning screws I bought it about two months ago in a shop called noise works in coventry in the uk. The guitar is 25-years-old and was 295 pounds. Im 14 the guitar is older than me

Can anyone tell me anything about an Antoria Guitar I have lying around? I suspect it is a 3/4 (if that makes sense) because it is quite small, like a child's but not being very musical myself, I know nothing.
Inside is a label which reads:
Antoria Classic.
A small rossette with 'A' in the middle.
Model Number (either omitted or not visible).
Made in Japan under strict quality control.
Distributed by J. T. Coppock (Leeds) Ltd.
Any info will be greatly appreciated
