Roland expands product support department
Roland Corporation U..S.has hired an additional full-time Product Specialist,bringing the total number of technical support representatives up to an astounding 24 staff members. Available free of charge to both dealers and consumers,Roland ’s goal is to provide instant access and the best support in the industry via its telephone representatives and 24-hour FaxBack services. With 24 full-time support representatives now on staff, Roland can provide a higher level of customer and dealer support with minimal wait time. Each Product Specialist on staff is not only a musician,but also a trained expert on the product group he/she supports:Digital Recording,Digital Mixing,Keyboards/Samplers/Groove, or Guitar/Percussion. These Product Specialists can assist with anything from pre-sales questions to operational issues on new and vintage Roland/BOSS gear.In addition,each Product Specialist has gear up and running in their area to go through operations “live ” with the customer or salesperson. And unlike the technical support provided by some companies,Roland offers unlimited access to its 24 full-time support representatives to anyone who calls —no questions asked.Live support is provided Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm Pacific Time.In addition,Roland offers a comprehensive library of support documents,FAQs and product information via its 24-hour FaxBack service.
