TC-Helicon introduces brand new Voice Modeling Technology
Musikmesse, Frankfurt - Hall 9,0 #B65 & ProLight+Sound, Fankfurt - Hall 6,1 #D10: TC-Helicon is now showing the new VoicePrism Plus Human Voice Modeling|Formant Processor, a full solution vocal processor for stage and studio - featuring the world's first professional implementation of Voice Modeling(tm) technology. Voice Modeling is essentially realtime resynthesis and reshaping of the human voice. It offers a variety of ways in which to process the vocal input, including the ability to add breath, growl, rasp, head and chest resonance, inflection or vibrato.

The new VoicePrism Plus provides Voice Modeling features for the lead vocal channel, as previously described, as well as a full range of effects, harmony and backing channel vocal processing under preset control for subtle to extreme vocal processing.
The VoicePrism Plus also provides the ability to go directly from a phantom powered mic into its high quality 48V mic preamp to access any of the onboard processes including - Compression, Gate, dual fully parametric EQ, 4-voice harmony (with individually adjustable gender controls and humanizing parameters), lead voice Human Voice Modeling, 2 separate post-effects blocks (incl. Chorus/Flanger, Delay and Reverb with predelay), effects and harmony libraries, preset browser with context sensitive help menus, and even audition sampled human voices for preset previewing. Inputs and outputs include 1/4" analog, 24 bit AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital I/Os.
TC-Helicon is also showing their new VoiceCraft Voice Modeling Card, a new upgrade card for the company's debut live and recording vocal processor, the VoicePrism. VoiceCraft adds the additional DSP power, algorithms, Voice Modeling technology and hardware compliment to the processor as a path for VoicePrism owners to upgrade to the equivalent of a VoicePrism Plus.
Retail price of the VoicePrism Plus and VoiceCraft upgrade card are to be announced.
