Propellerheads Reason 1.01, First Update New ASIO Drivers
Stockholm, Sweden 2001 - Propellerhead Software, the company behind acclaimed products such as Reason, Recycle! and ReBirth, today announced Reason 1.01. This free update will be focused on perfecting the application before adding new features.
The biggest change in Reason 1.0.1 is the completely rewritten ASIO implementation that will sort the large number of problems with ASIO drivers in Reason 1.0. The new ASIO implementation also features support for external WordClock and S/PDIF sync that wasn't available in Reason 1.0.
The release of Reason 1.0.1 also includes the ReFill Packer - a tool to create that also the user to create their own ReFill files with their own samples, loops patches etc. The ReFill Packer will be a free download for registered users. Reason 1.01 will be available June 1.

Formed in 1994, they have created some the most innovative music software and technology standards, (including Rewire and the REX file format), that have been used extensively in dance music and electronica. Propellerheads' Rebirth application was the first virtual emulation of vintage analogue gear -- a trend that now dominates the music software arena.
