SpinAudio Announces SpinDelay 1.0 VST/DX Audio Plug-In for Windows.
SpinAudio Software, a developer of professional audio processing plugins for the music industry announces SpinDelay 1.0.
SpinDelay is an audio processing plugin available in both Steinberg's VST and Microsoft's DirectX forms that can produce a wide range of tap delay based effects with a spacious 3D like sound. It offers two stereo taps with controllable delay time, feedback, input lowpass filter cutoff, phase inverse mode, output pan, volume, and 3D panning position, which allows to separate delays in a stereo image. The most important feature is that SpinDelay is designed so that its two stereo delay lines can be connected to each other, which gives you a way to make up configurations that can produce such effects as multiple and cross-feedbacked delays.
To ease SpinDelay using we included two useful features to the interface: Tempo based delay calculator and linking delays by specified ratio. Delay calculator allows you to set delay of every tap by specifying tempo value in Beat-Per-Minutes(bpms) and a ratio to one bar time. Let’s say you’ve got a straight beat at 125 bpm and want to make a delay that would repeat every half a bass drum kick. You set tempo to 125 and delay ratio to 1/2, then press button to set delay in corresponding tap. The second feature allows you to ‘link’ delays at a predefined ratio that may be 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 4. When tap delays are linked, whenever one changes another will follow it. This is very useful tool when you want to get proportional delay values in both taps.

SpinDelay fully supports VST automation. That means that you can record and then play plugin parameters changes. Imagine that you can create effect to your track when tap 3D panning position is moving!
SpinDelay has a nice, user-friendly interface that allows you to easily control of all aspects of plugin sound. To easy using of SpinDelay there are the following features:
Knobs are spinning with a resolution of your mouse
You can always see what is a value of parameter controlled by knob by pressing right mouse button on the corresponding knob
There are fine tune buttons which allow to make precise adjustments to tap delay values
To quickly switch between different SpinDelay configurations it has nine quick preset buttons on the right side of the plugin
SpinDelay is the first audio plugin on the market that supports Skins Technology. This technology allows to easily change product look by selecting different skins, which are available to download from SpinAudio Web Site. The skins interface is open, thus everybody may design his/her own skin. Besides changing images, this interface allows also to specify positions of the controls and some of their properties.
