Acoustic Guitar Lesson: Delta Blues in E

In previous lessons we already played some of the basic blues shuffles and delta blues basics. The delta blues was a typical acoustic guitar style, but there is no reason to play the delta blues just on acoustic guitar.

In this next one bar exercise you will have to play both the typical high guitar notes and the bass style notes from the delta blues. Like most delta blues this is in E so the low E-string can be used to play a low E bass note.

If you look at the sheet music and guitar tabs you will see that this exercise uses bass notes, chord type playing and a little solo guitar lick.
