I've been playing bass and guitar for nearly 25 years. I bought my CB10 a couple years ago. I wanted a bass that I could rehearse with in a more acoustic setting. I have been very pleased with the instrument. Well made, attractive and plenty loud. It has an extra long scale neck, which narrows the brands of strings available. Undoubtedly, the Elixers contribute to the tone. Plugged in, this bass can kick and the variety of tones available seem almost endless. BTW, I liked this bass so much I went out and purchased a Tacoma DM10 acoustic guitar a year later
