Bass Notes: The Sharp Music Symbol
In the previous lesson we looked at the natural notes. Now let's take a look at the notes in between. Remember our notes?

Although these notes do not have a real name they are used just like the normal notes. Instead of a name you can say something like:
"The note higher than the A"
In bass music theory there is a symbol for this. It is called the sharp symbol.
Symbol: #: pronounce ‘sharp’ half higher.
Take a look at this next example of bass sheet music. It shows how the A, A sharp and B note are written in sheet music.
