(02/27) Yamaha Band & Orchestral Division unveiled the YCL-CSG series clarinets at Winter NAMM 2004. The new series features a smaller bore, hand-tapered undercut tone holes, with the option of silver-plated or Hamilton-plated nickel silver keys. In addition, a short barrel and a longer upper joint with no metal bell ring contribute to a warm, focused sound and a smooth, even response throughout the full range of the instrument.The CSG series is composed of four models: YCL-CSG (key of Bb with silver-plated nickel keys), YCL-CSGA (key of A with silver-plated nickel keys), YCL-CSGH (key of Bb with Hamilton-plated nickel silver keys) and YCL-CSGAH (key of A with Hamilton-plated nickel silver keys).
