Let me save you some time and money. The DMS-80 is a complete piece of crap. It puts out a loud static ground-type noise with the volume turned all the way down and all of the inputs turned off! It so loud it's a relief when you turn it off. The headphone amp was extremely noisy too -- too noisy to use. A second (I. E. replacement) unit did the same thing. I bought one from Zzounds and they sent a replacement that had the same problem. To their credit (and praise) they paid for return shipment of both units and gave me a full refund.
Aside from the ground noise problem, it doesn't sound half bad with a sub-bass speaker. Without the sub-bass speaker it's paper thin, though. Others have favorably reviewed it so maybe you'll have better luck. Alas. . . I had high hopes.
