The MDS-JE440 is a low-cost, high sonic-quality MiniDisc recorder/player deck. It incorporates the latest ATRAC technology and will provide excellent value for digital recording applications.

MDSJE440 MiniDisc Features

• 24-bit A/D digital converters: Operates at 24-bit word length, for high precision.
• Hybrid Pulse D/A Converter: Minimizes zero-cross distortion, considered by researchers to be the most audible distortion in digital playback. The result is remarkably smooth, open sound — even during delicate quiet passages.
• El-Core power transformer: reduces radiated hum
• ATRAC Type "R" Digital Signal Processing: For closer to CD-quality sound.
• Digital Sample Rate Converter: Allows easy digital transfer from other digital audio sources such as DAT.
• Time Machine Recording: Captures audio input to the record buffer prior top pressing the RECORD button.
• Smart Space Recording: Replaces blank space created by interruption with 3 seconds of space
• CD-Synchro Recording: Allows synchronized record and play using the wireless remote with a compatible Sony CD player.
• Digital Record Level: Allows adjustment from menu or remote.
