Yamaha SSD-1250A Soprano Mini Snare Drum Fit Any KitSince their introduction, the Yamaha mini snare drums have offered drummers a unique, yet cost-effective addition to their sets. That same distinctive, contemporary sound and attractive price point may be found in three new models which will make their Summer NAMM 2001 debut: the SSD-1050A Sopranino; the SSD-1250A Soprano; and the SSD-1350A Piccolo. All models are available in Raven Black and Gloss Natural finishes, which may easily be incorporated into any existing drum kit.
All models feature 5-in. deep, 8-ply 8mm shells and 14-strand, high-carbon snares to produce a distinctive "crack." Shells are constructed of Birch, Philippine Mahogany and Falkata plys. The 10-in.
