Yamaha improves YMB-150 mallet bag
NASHVILLE–Upgrades to the Yamaha YMB-150 mallet bag make it even more convenient and practical than before. The improved design includes a larger and more durable zipper that accommodates more mallets and will not snag the mallets’ felt or yarn. New interior pockets for small objects–such as tuning keys–feature a zipper closure, and there is even a pencil holder. A new top handle with Velcro® closure and detachable shoulder strap offers improved carrying convenience. What’s more, the large outside pockets are now large enough to accommodate the always-elusive band folder.
"We took the old mallet bag, which was very popular, and made it even better using improvements suggested by consumers," notes Joel Tetzlaff, product specialist, Band & Orchestral Division, Yamaha Corporation of America. "This is a direct result of consumers asking for something and Yamaha responding with a better product."
