World Beat African-Style Rope Tuned Djembe The Magic Drum That Yields a Rainbow of Sounds

The Djembe is a natural when choosing a drum for drum circles, healing, or pleasure. Everyone - rookie to professional - can spot the attraction immediately. Portable, it travels easily with the player. With minimal technique, it produces an enormous range of tones. Bump it with your palm and you swear it's a Tumbadora; shuffle with your fingers and it's a Dumbek! And so LP is proud to introduce two World Beat African-Style Rope-Tuned Wood Djembes. The larger Djembe has a 14" head, stands 25" tall, and delivers deep, resounding bass and sharp slaps. The smaller Djembe has a 12" head, 21" height, and offers a smooth transition between a rich bottom and a crisp top end. The head is natural goat skin for those who insist on authentic tactile response and historical accuracy. And we've wrapped the ancient, vessel-shaped drum in an attractive natural satin finish.
