Bass and Snare Drum rhythm exercises quarter and 8th notes
Check out the next exercises. These exercise can be used for two types of exercises
1) learning your basic bass and snare drum rhytms
2) learning to read drum tabs faster
You can even do these exercises whitout your drum kit. Simply tab the rhythm with you foot and right hand, like you would with your bass drum and snare drum.
Exercise type 1:
Tab the rhythm without listening to the MIDI drum rhythm sounds. Then listen if you got it right.
Exercise type 2: Read the drum tab and try to imagine in your head how it would sound. Listen if you got it right.
