Pearl EX825 Export 5-Piece Drums Jet Black
The all-new Export Select Series features RL-10 and RL-20 lugs for an exciting new split lug design similar to that of Pearl's renowned Masters Series and totally handmade Masterworks drums. Mahogany Shells Export, like its sibling Export Select, now features a new 6-ply, 7.5mm, 100% Mahogany shell for increased warmth and striking tonality. These new Export shells are formed using Pearl's exclusive Heat Compression Shell Molding System, the same process used on all Pearl drums from entry-level to top-of-the-line Masterworks drums. Pearl's proprietary overlapping seams are gapless and allow the shells to vibrate uniformly, unencumbered by air pockets like some others. This process is the most exacting on the market today and is responsible for Pearl's exceptional clarity and purity of sound. New! EX-5514S Wood Snare Drum The EX-5514S (5¸ in. x 14 in.) matching wood snare drum features Pearl's all new Mahogany shell, 8 CL-50 lugs, 1.6mm hoops for ear splitting rimshots, and the SR-014N vertical pull strainer.
