That's why the Alesis DM5 sports the Expanded Dynamic Articulation feature, allowing drum sounds to change volume, tone, and pitch depending on how hard they're hitÖjust like real drums. Just one example of the professional performance features Alesis has put into this supremely affordable, single-rack drum solution. If you have a MIDI sequencer or sequencing software, just connect it to the DM5 and you'll have amazingly expressive drum sounds at your disposal. You can also use the DM5 with a set of MIDI drum pads. This module is affordable enough for musicians just getting into MIDI, but it sounds good enough to appeal to pros. But it's not just the incredible sounds on this 18-bit High Sample Rate Drum ModuleÖthough there ARE 540 of them!Öits features like Random Sample that set it apart from the rest.
