New LP Salsa Rawhide Maracas
LP Music announced new Salsa Rawhide Maracas. The artists of Latin music, and especially those in Afro-Cuban ensembles, know that the maraca is an instrument unto itself. A maraca solo, in the hands of an artist such as Herman Olivera, can be a mini-symphony of rhythm and harmony, punctuated by exciting exclamations and long rolls.
When Latin Percussion, Inc. created a new professional salsa rawhide maraca, they called upon Herman Olivera and other LP artists, for input. They tested the new LP Salsa Rawhide Shakers in concerts, clubs, and studios, giving them their blessing. What this means is that the new maracas provide the perfect sized body, encased with the proper material – specially selected rawhide.
LP has produced excellent rawhide maracas in the past. The difference here is in specially prepared rawhide shells, wood handles, and a new fill material that mates well, producing a full, crisp sound unparalleled today. Pairs are matched for pitch and texture.
The new LP Salsa Rawhide Maracas are available in three styles; natural rawhide, maroon, and a red, white, and blue design. The look is right and the sound is strong – strong enough to propel the hottest salsa band.
