Hey. My boyfriend's birthday is coming up soon and I decided to buy him a new acoustic. He's been playing for a little over a year now and the only acoustic he has now is his Fender DG-8 that came in the starter pack. Well we were talking about acoustics and he told me that if he got a new one he would get a Fender, Yamaha or Ibanez. He also mentioned that he likes the cutaway since you can reach the lower frets and all. Well I've been doing a lot of searching for a good, solid guitar that isn't cheaply made. Right now I'm stuck on two: Yamaha FG04LTD and the Ibanez V70CE. Can anyone help me? The Yamaha seems like a good regular acoustic but he said he likes the cutaway (which the V70CE has). Which would I be better off buying? Helpppp. I'm stuck and I don't want to buy him something crappy. Also, if you have any other ideas for a guitar in that price range, feel free to mention it. | |
