I am currently recording a demo and have run into quite a dilemma. I was editing at least two songs in one night and the next day I found that some bits of DELETED information and sound was possibly transfered from one song to another. Now the song was saved in a different place with a different name and never to my knowledge mixed with the other song. I have tried undoing some deletes and cuts I made but still the sounds remain. Is this just a case of file corruption?

Also I have noticed when I hit STOP and PLAY too quickly together the machine freezes and restarts. Is this a common malfunction?
I really need someone's advice on this matter especially if these problems have arisen before for anyone.
Thanks

It's very hard to tell what actually happened because any software glitch or hardware problem can be responsible. And unless this does not happen many times and to many people you probably are not going to find an answer easily.

But regarding your second question, don't hit them too quickly together ;)
As a solution I would suggest looking for circumstances under which this happens. Example:

Is the AW16G on long (heat ??)
Are there many devices on the same outlet? (voltage drops?)
Certain times of the day? (voltage changes?)

Some computer equipment is a little more sensitive to these things and so maybe the AW16G.

Good luck,
MN
