So im trying to decide whether I should buy the eric clapton artist series strat or the custom shop version? it seems to me that they offer the same spec's. I was thinking that the custom shop version was just more aesthetically pleasing but if the custom shop version has a better tone, sustain etc. then I'll have to go with that. I have only played the artist series strat but I have been looking everywhere for the customs strat so I can compare. if anybody has played both and can tell me the differences that would be great. thanks!
