I've been writing (stories/poems/lyrics) for about 7 years now, and have never had writer's block. Now my boyfriend's birthday is comming up and he loves my writing, so I thought during his party, I would sing a song that I wrote just for him. So I sat down about a week ago to write the song and. . . . . . {BLANK!!!} I just couldn't think of what to say . We've been going out for about 2 years now, and I love him very much, so I figured it would be easy. Man, was I wrong. No matter what I do, I can't get out the words. I feel like I've tried everything. Anyone have a suggestion? | Shelly

This sounds to me like a typical example of to emotional?? Personally when I try to write something for the one I love I think everything I write is just not good enough. I think emotions are stronger than words in this case. Is this your problem too? | |
