I think we all agree that Metallica have produced some monumental rock anthems througout their lenghthy carreer. However many were dissapointed by the material on the new St Anger album. No guitar solos and a lack of melodic breaks etc dissapointed some. But the new album contains some awesome guitar riffs and lars' drumming is incredible. listening to it from start to finish is the only way to gain the albums 'full feel', and if more people did so (rather than just listening to the odd track alone) they would enjoy it more.
I just posted this message to say that I believe Metallica are still capable of writing great music, despite what some have to say. I hope they take peoples constructive criticism and peoples compliments about St Anger on board and continue to write rock music THEY can be proud of. If they do, we will listen! It doesnt really matter dude
All of metallicas cd's, and songs rox except for a few best songs on St. Anger are Dirty Window,Purify,The Unamed Feeling,Frantic,All with in my hands, and that Monster song forgot name. . . . The best cd is Master Of Puppets and best song is The Thing That Should Not Be on MOP

These guys should change there name they aint the Metalica I grew up listening too . They can and do still produce good music but since bob rock "popified" their music they have lost their edge , garage days have come and gone. "Rustalica" heavy metal for todays senoir citizen | |
