Hi there, I have just installed a midi sound card(one with a midi port) to my HP pavilion 723a with XP OP. Now that seems to have gone smoothly. I also connected midi keyboard to it Yamaha PSR-230. . . the xp seems to have detected both the sound card and the cable. . . . . now. . . what I can't seem to do is to get the midi keyboard actually play on the computer. . . I have installed a trial version of a music editor software but in it there is no mention to the keyboard as an input source (note worthy composer).
Any hints, pointers, tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. I think there's no solution.
The keyboard was built during win 98. I think so it is not compatible with xp.
I'm looking for a solution but that seems not easy | |
