Hey there

I pretty much just wanted to know some people's opinion on whats the best sounding chorus out there.

I play hard rock, and occasionally want to nail some semi-clean, chorus tones that sound somewhat like The Police, or Rush. . . Some sounds like them.

What I'm looking to do when recording to tape is use a stereo chorus effect, to get some wide sonic spread of the guitar between left/right speakers. When just jamming or rehearsing I'd plug into the effects loop.

I'm very interested in the Boss Chorus Ensable TWIN pedal (CE-20), but I hear it's digital and it doesn't sound very good. Any opinions on this??, or the EHX Memory Man, MXR Stereo chorus, or any ones I haven't heard of lol?

Thanks
Onimok

The DLS Ultra Chorus and Chorus~Vib get rave reviews.
Have a listen to the sound clips on their web site.
I don't have any of their effects but from what I've heard and read on Harmony Central they are the bomb. I plan to get one as soon as $'s permit

I had an Ibanez Stereo Chorus pedal many years ago that I loved. I sold it to buy an MXR Stereo Chorus, thinking I was trading up, and I regretted it right away. The Ibanez was excellent for Rush, Pat Traverse and that kind of sound. Ibanez has now reissued it. I've tried many chorus pedals over the years, and if I still used chorus I'd buy that one for sure. Have you tried "vibe" pedals, like the Univibe or Voodoo Labs Micro Vibe? It's a different effect, like Hendrix or Robin Trower, but it's very cool and has much more depth than any chorus pedals I've used. You might like that. The Voodoo Labs one is excellent and very reasonably priced. Good luck!

Dont buy anything digital, especially boss, boss makes a couple good pedals, but they also make alot of crap, Like the wah pedal for example, a mockery of the effect
