The Fender strat is an excellent choice . I t has very good action, (easy to finger) and an excellant range of sound . It also comes with a vibrato arm for bending note effects. This guitar has been used by many professioal guitarists. Good luck. Mike P | Wet Brain

I'd definitely go with the fender if you want a bright, twangy tone. Great if your into blues or rock. If you got a little bit more money put some Lace pickups(I like golds) for a cleaner more bell like sound. I personally love them. Marshalls are great but I prefer Mesa Boogies(the Road King is awesome) or if you have loads of money a Diezel VH-4(I can't think of any amp that has more vesatility in tone) which sounds absolutely amazing. But I haven't checked out the MG100DFX amp so I don't know anything about it | |
