Crate introduces the CA112D acoustic amp
Crate has introduced three new amplifiers to their acoustic series, the CA30D, CA112, and CA112D. The new amplifiers feature new cosmetics as well as 8 onboard digital effects. "The CA30D, CA112 and CA112D have been designed to expand the performance and rehearsal applications for acoustic musicians. Instead of practicing with a "dry" amplifier sound, players can shape their tone, utilizing the onboard DSP," commented Crate product manager Pat Stevenson. The CA30D features a Crate 8" high-fidelity speaker, 30-watts RMS, and includes two channels, 1/4" line out chorus, reverb, effects loop, as well as 8 built-in digital effects. The CA112 and CA112D feature a dual-voice coil 12" subwoofer with studio monitor construction, a Crate special design tweeter with level control, and are powered by 2x50-watts RMS.
