Boss GT3 Guitar Effects Processor
The GT3 Guitar Effects Processor takes the professional-quality guitar effects and killer COSM-based preamp of the flagship GT5 and places them in a sturdy, compact pedalboard with a surprisingly low price. With 32 onboard effects -- including new Auto Riff, Acoustic Effects, and a Pickup Simulator -- the GT-3 opens the doors to a whole new world of guitar processing power. The GT3 is an affordable, floor-based effects processor and preamp with true professional-quality features and sounds. Like its big brother, the popular GT5, the GT3 doesn't cut corners when it comes to tone. It offers full 24-bit A/D converters and 20-bit D/A convertersthe highest in its class. And onboard you'll find all the cool Boss effects that made the GT5 so popular: 11 types of analog distortion and over-drive sounds, plus chorus, flanger, phase, emboli, panning, wash, reverb, delay, compression, feed backer, slow gear, EQ, harmonist, vibrato, guitar synch effects, acoustic guitar simulation, and more 32 effects in all! Thirteen of these effects are available simultaneously, and without exception, these effects sound a "cut above" other floor-based processors on the market, making the GT3 right for the studio as well. Cool New Effects In addition to the 28 effects found in the GT5, the GT3 includes some great new effects as well. An Auto-Riff function lets users play a single note and trigger a complete musical riff, allowing beginners to sound like pros with lightning-fast tapping riffs, funky riffs, and more! An onboard Pickup Simulator processes a single-coil guitar to sound as if it's got fat humbucking pickups, or vice-versa. A new Slicer effect produces rhythmic "chopping" patterns in the guitar's output, which sound like across between a guitar and a wild techno synth. A newly developed Feedbacker effect accentuates the gain of overtones and fundamentals to easily produce natural feedback. And there's even some great acoustic-electric guitar effects, including a built-in Anti-Feedback processor, a Bi-Stereo Chorus Effect, and an Acoustic-Electric Preamp setting which produces natural, balanced acoustic-electric guitar sounds even when plugged in to a conventional guitar amp.
