E Minor Scales Exercises for Guitars

For any guitarist the next guitar exercises should not be easy. There are many guitar lessons that just focus on playing fast with your left hand, but this exercise will also improve your right hand picking speed and string skipping ability. If look at the sheet music and tab you will see that the range is set at one octave. The guitar tabs of the exercises show the open strings played. Especially when two different open strings are used close to each other be sure to mute the string.
When you hear and play the next exercises on guitar you will probably run into some familiar ones that can actually be used as a guitar riff.

The tempo is set to 110, but uses both 8ths and 16th notes. Try to play them without the music at first until you get the tempo right and then jam along. Have fun with the next exercises! If you can play guitar like this you are one big step closer to getting to a much higher level of guitar playing.
