Right from the store it comes ready to play. As if its already been broken in. The tone/sustain are amazing, the sound resonates even when unplugged. Versatility is a big factor, You could get a whole area of tones outta this thing. Fabulous humbucker for lead or two not so humble Texas special for those rhythm players. Not to mention how absolutely hot it looks with new Sienna sunburst finish, this guitar is begging to be played

I love my Fat Strat Texas Special. It has the nice clean bluesy sound from the two single coil pickups and a nice nasty crunch from the bridge pickup. I want a Gibson Les Paul Standard and an American made Fender Strat too. This guitar was as close as I could get in one guitar
