PW-10 V-Wah first-of-its-kind programmable COSM modeling wah pedal
BOSS is proud to announce the PW-10 V-Wah, a first-of-its-kind programmable COSM® modeling wah pedal. This powerful pedal gives guitarists and bassists instant access to six classic and modern wah sounds, plus all-new "Voice" and "Double Resonance" modes which have never appeared in a wah pedal before. The V-Wah also includes onboard overdrive/booster effects, user memory and noise-free infrared pedal detection, making it a potent addition to any pedalboard.
Taking advantage of BOSS' expertise in digital modeling, the V-Wah is packed with stunning simulations of popular wah sounds, including "CBY-Wah" (the classic wah sound), "VO-Wah" (the British wah sound), "MO-Wah" (a popular new-school wah sound), and "Uni-V" (a vintage swirling rotary effect). A quick turn of a knob is all it takes for a musician to dial in the next amazing wah model and desired filter range.
In Voice mode, the V-Wah practically talks as its pedal is swept through different vowel sounds, while a new Double Resonance mode offers analog synth-like sounds with realtime filter control by pedal.
The thought of a wah pedal doesn't necessarily bring modern digital technology to mind, but the V-Wah changes all that. Its infrared sensors make for smooth, noise-free operation. They also mean that the V-Wah doesn't click when it's turned on and that it never needs to be cleaned or have parts replaced. Its 3 user memory locations allow players to store their favorite wah settings for quick recall via the heel pedal switch.
The V-Wah also contains a healthy dose of overdrive, with eight different kinds of built-in overdrive effects including BOSS classics such as the OD-1 OverDrive, OD-2 Turbo OverDrive, MT-2 Metal Zone, DS-1 Distortion, BD-2 Blues Driver, as well as special "Muff Fuzz," "Guv Dist" and Booster modes. The Drive knob lets users dial in just the right amount of overdrive.
With the huge filter range of its Advanced mode, and a special Bass mode for bass players, there's never been a wah pedal quite like the V-Wah.
