Yamaha UB99 Magicstomp Effects Processor
Get Yamaha's amazing UD Stomp, AG Stomp and DG Stomp capabilities, plus a selection of SPX90 programs, in one USB-enabled box, complete with hot Artist presets! Connect the Magic Stomp to your computer via USB and you can deep-edit the presets and even download new ones from Yamaha's dedicated player's website. The front panel provides 3 Assignable knobs for realtime control. DG sounds include multi-layered amp models, compression, distortion, gate, modulations, delay, filter, reverb, speaker simulations - all at 1 time! AG sounds include EQs, a feedback eliminator, limiter, chorus, delay, mic models, and reverb. UD sounds include 8 delays, mod, panning & EQ. From the SPX90 come comp, dist, mod, delay, pitch shifter ("Womanizer"), pan, Symphonic, tremolo & reverb. This is a fully-loaded, forward-looking box that's literally stuffed with tone and power. A new concept in effects technology for the studio or gigging musician Designed for electric or acoustic/electric guitars, the Magicstomp provides effects from the Yamaha UD, AG and DG Stomp programs, plus a number of digital effects from the Yamaha SPX family in an ultra-compact, user-friendly "stomp box" format. Loaded with a total of 198 sound programs (99 preset and 99 user), the Magicstomp contains vintage and new amp models, studio-quality effects, and speaker/microphone models, using powerful 24-bit processing. The Magicstomp connects via USB to a computer (MAC or PC) to allow deep editing of programs, patch configuration and patch downloads from the Internet. Bundled software includes driver, editor and tone data files, with a number of preset and additional patches. A dedicated website (coming soon) will let you upload and download programs — including a number of high-profile artist patches — free of charge. Although the Magicstomp performs complex functions internally, Yamaha has succeeded in keeping the user interface simple and easy to use. The real 'magic' here is that they've created a product so powerful and fun, it will be impossible for guitar players to resist.
