Sheet Music and Guitar Tab

Now that you know how the basic guitar works lets look at how both guitar tab and sheet music are used together sometimes. Many good sheet music titles and guitar books use both classic sheet music and guitar tablature. Mainly because of the note length problems in guitar tab as mention on the previous page.

As you can see in the example the guitar tab is a lot easier to read. This is by the way a great guitar finger exercise.
So for these kinds of exercises, practicing and learning guitar tab is extremely useful. But for more complex songs sheet music is needed.
