The system provides rugged construction (including a metal receiver on the Diversity version), XLR and 1/4 in. connectors, reliable RF performance, and superb sound quality. The Emotion Series D880M microphone features AKG's Varimotion technology for incomparably clear sound quality. By making the diaphragm of varying thickness, the transducer can be precisely tuned for the highest level of performance.
