In other words: Magenta is a synthesizer that uses any VST track or live input signal as basic waveform that can be tweaked using the incredible power of realtime resynthesis.Prosoniq's highly optimized Multikernel Spectrum Resythesis Engine (MSRE) faithfully reproduces any sound by resynthesizing it from a set of basic waveforms, giving you utmost control over all aspec
Magenta VST Mac To Ship in February
(/) Prosoniq announced that their novel resynthesis plug in, Magenta, for VST Mac which offers polyphonic pitch and spectrum manipulation and many different presets for interesting and stunning spectral effects will be released in February this year. Available for VST on the Mac, this plug in takes full advantage of the G4 Velocity engine and offers more than 20 voices of polyphony for realtime resynthesis on an off-the-shelf G4 Macintosh. A port to Digidesign's proprietary RTAS platform is in progress and a VST PC version of this product is planned.
