Voxengo 1.9 of CurveEQ linear-phase spline equalizer PC VST plug-in
Version 1.9 of CurveEQ--a professional WYSIWYG ("what you see is what you get") linear-phase spline equalizer PC VST plug-in--is now available for download.
CurveEQ shows you actual filtering information: the filter's frequency response, and both input and output FFT spectrums. You can actually see what the EQ is doing with the sound. This, in turn, allows you to get the best from your mix and your tracks. CurveEQ perfectly suits the needs of mastering, and in some cases CurveEQ is suitable for use as an in-track FX insert.
Version 1.9 includes several useful improvements. SpectruMatch process now works more precisely allowing to achieve a finer spectrum matching. Now CurveEQ has a new filter mode `2-P' which allows you to get a more open-sounding higher frequency end.
This newer version also includes an improvement of the internal filter rebuilding procedure which allowed to increase the general quality of the spline curve and allowed to increase the speed of rebuilding which, in turn, gives a smoother EQ curve editing experience.
Previously users had difficulty understanding all buttons present on the plug-in's screen. To solve this inconvenience CurveEQ now has a "Help Desk" screen which describes all CurveEQ control buttons. You can invoke this screen by pressing the `?' button while holding the CTRL key.
