The i88X is an mLAN based Audio and MIDI interface which features 2 mic and 6 line inputs that deliver a pristine audio signal to the unit's precision 24 bit/96 kHz A/D converters. Built-in ADAT Light Pipe compatibility and SPDIF I/O allows for 18 simulataneous inputs and outputs. Because the i88X is mLAN compatible, with the i88X you get the added benefits of integration with over 40 mLAN licensee company products.

The first two of the i88X's input channels feature extremely high-performance head amplifiers with insert points. These head amplifiers were designed by the same engineers who developed our DM2000 and 02R96 consoles and are the result of years of feedback from world-class engineers and producers. They deliver transparent performance that rivals — and in many cases exceeds — that of the most expensive component microphone preamplifiers.
