TC-Helicon introduces the VoiceOne Voice Pitch and Modeling Tool - a new groundbreaking statement in vocal technologies and the most advanced and innovative tool for professionals working with vocals. The broad palette of new dedicated voice tools includes Vocal-trained Pitch Recognition, Hybrid Shifting algorithms, FlextimeT elasticity algorithms, Voice ModelingT and full DSP mode for low latency/extended performance.
As an industry first, the VoiceOne features Vocal-trained Pitch Recognition, an all-new algorithm designed and trained for the idiosyncrasies of the human voice. This voice-specific algorithm ensures shifted vocals stay natural thanks to the highly stable pitch detector and its very accurate handling of vowels, hard consonants and sibilants. The enhanced pitch recognition is also the core of VoiceOne's superior Pitch Correction, giving you fewer errors and artifacts and faster results when fixing intonation problems. VoiceOne allows you to correct and even re-pitch vocal lines keeping them natural sounding even over wide intervals. This is due to the adjustable pitch correction/re-pitching window (0-600/infinite cents), and a supporting hybrid shifter.
VoiceOne also introduces Hybrid Pitch shifting in addition to the 'instrument' pitch shifting approach used in most products today. While the 'instrument' approach is good for small intervals, format-corrected pitch shifting is able to preserve the voice characteristics over large intervals. Combining the two provides you with unlimited flexibility and control resulting in great tracking and a natural or supernatural sound at your disposal.
Furthermore, the new FlextimeT inflection algorithm seamlessly stretches and shrinks the pitch and time (500ms) of a vocal line to make it breathe. A very powerful tool when dealing with doubling and harmonies, and additionally providing you with extreme control for radically altering phrases.
VoiceOne also introduces the next generation of VoiceModelingT featuring new models, increased control of modeling parameters and new modeling styles, intelligent harmonization algorithms controllable via MIDI or by internal/custom scales, Pitch to MIDI conversion, Full MIDI implementation, as well as 100 Factory/50 User presets. The VoiceOne hardware consists of full resolution 24 bit A/D and D/A converters with 24 bit internal processing driven by a powerful 100 million instruction per second DSP engine. A S/PDIF digital I/O is also included for a pure all digital, 24-bit signal path supporting both 44.1K and 48K rates.
