Guitar Rig is a complete solution for the modern guitarist - on the stage, in the rehearsal space, at home, and in the studio. Guitar Rig combines highly advanced software and a sturdy hardware foot controller: Rig Kontrol. The Guitar Rig software offers first-class emulations of classic and modern amplifiers, cabinets, microphones, and effects, letting guitarists easily create any guitar set-up imaginable. Guitar Rig Soft Synth (Macintosh and Windows) Features : True to the original amp emulations inspired by Mesa/Boogie Rectifier, Fender Twin Reverb and Marshall Plexi 50W State-of-the-art component modelling, including Dynamic Tube Response technology for powerful and dynamic tube sound Includes more than twenty classic and modern guitar effects, painstakingly modeled after popular stomp-box units and other real-world effect units Highly flexible cabinet and microphone simulation: ten speaker models, five microphones, and four microphone positions Includes metronome, tuner and multiple Tapedeck modules with time-stretching capabilities for audio playback and on-the-fly-recording All parameters can be controlled with the included Rig Kontrol foot controller, which also includes a D.I. box - MIDI interface not required Huge selection of presets featuring the sounds of famous guitarists and productions Clear visual rack concept with simple drag & drop operation for high flexibility and ease of use Can be used standalone and as a plug-in in a host sequencer Rig Kontrol The newly developed foot controller "Rig Kontrol" offers a functional design and sturdy construction. Rig Kontrol allows for direct control over any parameters the user assigns to it. At the same time it serves as a D.I. box for connecting the guitar to the computer sound card. A separate MIDI interface is not necessary, since the control data for the foot controller are communicated via the line-in connection. Guitar Rig can also be controlled with other MIDI foot controllers. Rigging up the Guitar Rig: The guitar is connected to via a standard guitar cable to the line input on the Rig Kontrol foot controller. The two standard line outs on the Rig Kontrol connect to the line ins of your audio interface (sound card) via standard guitar cables as well. There's no USB, MIDI, or FireWire connection necessary! Endless possibilities Guitar Rig integrates four tube amplifier emulations, which were developed through detail-exact analysis of popular models. In addition there are more than 20 outstanding sounding effects, including emulations of well-known vintage pedals and modern effects like delay, reverb, and EQs. Guitar Rig also includes an extensive "Cabinets and Mics" module with 14 speaker types, and five microphone types, each with four different positions. Up to eight speaker and mic combinations are possible simultaneously! Guitar Rigs modular structure makes it possible to combine any amplifier or effect in any order or quantity you desire. A special split module allows parallel signal processing with different amplifiers, cabinets and effects. First-class sound Native Instruments is known for outstanding emulations of hardware instruments. For Guitar Rig, NI has developed a special Dynamic Tube Response technology, which provides an unprecedented clarity and responsiveness in the sound. With help from impulse response modeling, the sound characteristics of different speakers and microphones can be emulated simultaneously. This results in powerful, dynamic guitar sounds that sound just like the originals while setting all new benchmarks. Live and in the studio Guitar Rig is ideal for live performance and practice sessions and can run as a standalone application without the need for any host sequencing software. In fact, the foot controller makes playing possible without the need to touch, or even see, the computer!
