Ukraine's Ruslana wins Eurovision Song Contest with Song Wild Dances
More than 100 million viewers were expected to tune in to watch the B artists, or even C artists, from 24 countries in the Eurovision Song Contest finals. Ruslana spiced up the contest with a song inspired by the folk music and dances of highlanders in the Carpathian Mountains. Instead of just some pop beats the song included traditional instruments. The Song Wild Dances also features fast dance mixed with acrobatic moves and some great costumes of fur and leather. To make the circus complete the set featured some real fireworks.
The win means that the whole circus will be moving to the Ukraine next year since the winner will host the contest next year.
