The suspended chords in Dance Music: Csus4 and Csus2
Suspended chords are not the most popular chord in music, but they are getting a lot more attention these days. Instead of just using the standard sound major and minor chords the suspend chords give producers the ability to find some fresh and new ways to create new sounds using bass patterns that sound good.
A suspend chord is not a major or a minor chord and does not use the standard harmony rules for chords. Let's take a look.
