M3 : Major third Interval
Note that the starting note of the interval is random which will make this exercise a little more difficult. What you will hear:
- The two notes together.
- The lowest note of the interval
- The highest note of the interval
You might think this is an easy test until you start doing it. So here are some tips on what to listen for.
m3: 1.5 notes
M3: 2 whole notes
If you start at first you probably won’t hear that much difference. The best way to learn these is to just do it and compare the previous question to the one you hear. So try to remember the sound in your head and compare if the next one sounds different or not.
